Welcome aboard my site. My name is Det Nissen; I'm a UX designer and content producer. This means that I not only produce wireframes and cast the whole thing into magical designs, but also conceive and produce the appropriate textual and visual content if required. I'm aware that Logo Droping smells a bit like boasting. But as a UX designer, I also know that hardly anything underlines the seriousness and competence of a service provider side as much as seals and awards.
The most important tools of a UX designer are empathy and social skills. Because even if analytical skills and logical thinking and, of course, design skills are part of the basic equipment of our UX species, in the end it is about creating the best possible connection between a product (physical or in the form of a service) and the users.
There are no surprises for me in terms of software for the core tasks: I use adobe InDesign and Illustrator for print and design tasks, adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for editing photos, adobe Premiere for film editing and adobe Xd, Axure, Sketch and Figma are the tools for UX tasks.
Without extensive research work and his specialist knowledge, Heinrich Schliemann Troy cannot be found or excavated. And what was true for Heinrich 200 years ago is even more true for UX designers today: Good research work is the basis for every successful website or app. And what used to be a shovel, chisel and brush when digging up Troy are tools like Google Analytics and Optimize or user tests and heat maps for my colleagues and me.
